Concept stores in Lyon, seven addresses from the Presqu'île to the Croix-Rousse

Lyon has plenty of shops calling themselves concept stores, and almost as many ways of understanding the word. On rue des Quatre Chapeaux it means designer clothing and jewellery. On rue Auguste Comte, objects and furniture. On rue du Mail, bulk goods and packaging-free products. This guide does not crown a winner. It sorts seven shops by three moods, getting dressed, giving, shopping differently, and tells you each time which district to head for.

Descriptions come from official websites or, where there is none, from the shops’ public listings. Ratings, review volumes and opening hours come from Google Maps. Everything was consulted on 29 September 2026, and none of the addresses mentioned has paid to be included.

To get dressed

Lulli sur la Toile, rue des Quatre Chapeaux

Between place des Jacobins and rue de la République, Lulli sur la Toile sits at number 5 rue des Quatre Chapeaux, in an interior of poured concrete and beige tones. Founded by Anne Vouland, the company counts around fifteen boutiques and nearly 220 labels by its own figures. Ready-to-wear, bags, jewellery and shoes share the space, and online orders can be collected in store. Open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 7pm.

It also has the lowest rating in this guide, 4.1 from 187 reviews, on one of the larger volumes.

Blush Concept Store, two doors down

At number 3 on the same street, Blush Concept Store has been open since 2007. The shop mixes fashion, homeware and a showcase of jewellery designers, with names such as Pascale Monvoisin, Gigi Clozeau, Kismet and Aurélie Bidermann. Its online shop advertises delivery within 24 to 48 hours, returns within 30 days and free relay-point delivery from 150 euros. With 242 Google reviews and a 4.5 rating, it is the most reviewed address in the guide.

Gaspard & Simone, near the Terreaux

On rue du Griffon, a few steps from place des Terreaux, Gaspard & Simone is listed on Google as a clothing store. The shop mainly communicates through its Instagram account, with no online shop found at the time of our check. It opens Tuesday to Saturday, with a break in the early afternoon, and shows 4.9 from 25 reviews.

La Maison Craie Craie, in Ainay

On rue Auguste Comte, in the antiques quarter, La Maison Craie Craie brings together gifts, homeware and furniture. Its website sorts gift ideas by budget, which helps when you need a specific present without knowing the shop. Rated 4.8 from 124 reviews.

Mes Comptoirs, on the left bank

Opened in 2018 on rue Paul Bert in the 3rd arrondissement, Mes Comptoirs showcases French and European makers and has an online shop. It is the only address in this guide on the left bank of the Rhône, handy if you are coming from Part-Dieu. Rated 4.8 from 44 reviews.

To shop differently

Coutume, in the Croix-Rousse

On rue du Mail, on the slopes of the Croix-Rousse, Coutume presents itself as a zero-waste concept store and claims more than 1,500 products designed to replace disposables with lasting alternatives. Delivery is free from 59 euros on its website. Rated 4.9 from 43 reviews.

Casita, café and shop

On rue des Remparts d’Ainay, Casita combines a café and a concept store. It is mainly followed on Instagram, and its Google listing shows 4.9 from 118 reviews. People come for the break as much as for the objects.

How to plan your visit

• A fashion morning. Rue des Quatre Chapeaux lets you see Lulli sur la Toile and Blush within five minutes, then walk up to the Terreaux for Gaspard & Simone.
• A gift afternoon. Ainay for La Maison Craie Craie and a break at Casita, or the left bank for Mes Comptoirs.
• A trip to the Croix-Rousse. Coutume pairs well with a stroll on the slopes.
• Without travelling. Five addresses out of seven sell online, including the designer selection of Lulli sur la Toile, with collection possible on rue des Quatre Chapeaux. Gaspard & Simone and Casita are discovered in person.

The limits of this guide

Seven shops do not cover all of Lyon. Addresses such as Hyppairs, Little Liamone or ARKE, often mentioned elsewhere, were left out so as not to repeat what other rankings already say. Opening hours are only given where they were readable at the time of our check. Finally, a Google rating is only a snapshot. Lulli sur la Toile’s average, 4.1, is the lowest in the panel, and Gaspard & Simone’s 4.9 rests on almost eight times fewer reviews.
